Are our products Tear Free? Our products are actually more naturally gentle to the eyes than products that are “tear free” since we do not use chemicals. Remember to always protect your baby’s eyes when cleansing. Our Shampoo and Messy Monkey Hand & Body Wash are extra gentle, mild enough for daily use, and can be used on newborns and babies with sensitive skin. Lu Lu’s American Baby does NOT use the chemical numbing agents found in “tearless” products; rather gentle ingredients are chosen that will not irritate little eyes.
Did you know?? “Tear Free” products actually contain a chemical numbing agent to numb your baby’s eyes so they can’t feel all the chemicals burning them. The eyes are still being irritated, they just can’t feel it, yuck!
